Gold Country Orchids, Sacramento's only large commercial orchid grower, will have their semi-annual greenhouse open house this weekend! It will be Friday - Sunday. Thousands of orchids will be available to purchase, from beginner plants for windowsill growing to hard to find divisions of rare orchids. Details below.

As usual, this is a fantastic opportunity to buy plants at steep discounts from retail, along with select divisions of difficult to find orchids. Alan is offering up to 50% off select plants, and will offer all members of the Sacramento Orchid Society who show proof of membership a free plant.

Alan will also hold classes each day - and these classes will be educational for beginners and experiences growers alike. Alan is an AOS orchid judge and is one of our society's best and most knowledgeable growers. Additionally, many experienced growers will attend - so it is a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow orchid growers and share knowledge and experience.

If you have not been to a commercial orchid greenhouse, this is a wonderful opportunity to see how orchids are grown - from flask to blooming. It is worth the drive!
