I am a photo stylist and have a shoot in September for Dial Soap.
One of the items they'd like to have photographed is the Vanilla Bean
Orchid.

Since one just bloomed at the Conservatory in SF, I'm wondering if
anyone has a plant ready to bloom? The photographer and i could come to the location immediately. There are so many micro climates, I'm hoping this may be a possibility.

I know they usually only last a day or two - so I (Scott Farrell) suggested she contact a friend of mine on the Big Island of Hawaii that grows vanilla commercially. If you're ever going to Hawaii, my friend has a commercial location on the north side of the island, about half way from Waimea to Hilo. Its a great drive over to Hilo from Kona, with several AWESOME botanical gardens!
