These orchids are growing near a south facing window (Not visible is an East Facing window to the left that provides morning light). An overhang prevents plants from getting too much light in the late afternoon during the summer. The wire mesh you see is actually a large plastic turtle tank - plants are taken off to water - however the water from the turtle tank keeps it very humid! :)
